“Here arises the power to moves things out there” is a rough translation of the 100-year-old leitmotif behind the industrial monument that houses krafthaus. And this is the spirit we want to continue to cultivate – in a figurative sense.

krafthaus is the workshop for museums and exhibitions belonging to the facts and fiction agency for live communication. A team of cultural scientists, architects and communications designers work closely together here.

Concepts developed at krafthaus generate attention, make creative statements and communicate content on an understandable and inspiring level. krafthaus sees itself as the energy behind fascinating exhibition experiences.

Responsibilty

Our prime responsibility is conveying knowledge ̶ making complex themes understandable and presenting in a way to make them accessible to as many people as possible.

This approach also applies to us. We are part of the treibhaus 0.8 a career program, a paid, one-year internship that includes occupational training in design. The Job Tester workshops we regularly host are initiated by the sk youth and media foundation to give young people an insight into media careers. Internships are of course paid for.

The issue of environmental protection is equally important to us. We strive to be carbon neutral, which is regularly and independently certified according to CO2OL.

Our quality assurance is an ongoing process. We work according to well-defined processes with respect to the facts and fiction QMS manual “Read the fish”, ISO certified according to DIN EN 9001: 2008. This consists of detailed instructions about working methods, budget and reporting control, collaboration with suppliers, behaviour towards customers, a definition of the four-eyes principle and numerous other regulations that must be observed.
